Chocolate Cake



Ingredients:


  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup Hershey's™ cocoa powder
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Procedure:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla.  Beat on medium speed.
  4. Stir in water.
  5. Grease and flour prepared pans.
  6. Pour batter.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool for frosting.
Yield:  12 pax
