Ingredients:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 300 grams butter
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 2 cups dates, chopped
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts, chopped
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 8 whole eggs
- Preheat the oven to 150°C.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the butter until soft. Add sugar slowly.
- Add eggs one by one. Beat slowly.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients.
- Add the dates and mix.
- Spread the batter in a greased baking pan.
- Garnish with chopped nuts.
- Bake for at least 45 minutes.
